I’ve already done a quick search of previous posts.
We are running a Netscreen SSG5 and we have Skype running.
Unfortunately, users are complaining about the quality of the calls.
It appears that the SSG5 and ScreenOS 6.1r3 we’re running don’t allow UDP hole punching and that’s why we’re having voice quality issues.
Anyone know of any Juniper Security products that will? We are running devices from other vendors that don’t have voice quality issues.
Any suggestions or configs to try out are greatly appreciated.

well, that is how a firewall should work, isnt it?
i dont know how the skype protocoll creates those holes. do the other vendors use UPNP? higher UDP timeouts? does skype have a fixed port (you may open it for UDP outgoing if it is fixed)?
