DHCP relay question

  • I`ve made a configuration on scheme:

    EX2200 ( dhcp client ) - mx80 (dhcp relay ) - EX2200 ( dhcp server )

    So config on clinet ex2200:

    nag@ex2200> show configuration interfaces ge-0/0/2
    vlan-tagging;
    unit 100 {
    vlan-id 100;
    family inet {
    dhcp;
    }
    }

    it is a simple client

    then config on mx80

    nag@MX80# show forwarding-options
    dhcp-relay {
    traceoptions { ## Warning: ‘traceoptions’ is deprecated
    file relay;
    flag all;
    }
    server-group {
    Redback {
    10.10.40.2;
    }
    }
    active-server-group Redback;
    group Clips {
    overrides {
    proxy-mode;
    }
    interface ge-1/1/3.0;
    }
    }

    [edit]
    nag@MX80#

    nag@MX80# show interfaces ge-1/1/3
    vlan-tagging;
    auto-configure {
    vlan-ranges {
    dynamic-profile vlan2 {
    accept any;
    ranges {
    1-150;
    }
    }
    }
    }

    nag@MX80#

    interface facing client.

    nag@MX80# show interfaces ge-1/1/2
    vlan-tagging;
    unit 1000 {
    vlan-id 1000;
    family inet {
    address 10.10.40.1/30;
    }
    }

    [edit]
    nag@MX80#

    interface facing server

    nag@MX80# show dynamic-profiles vlan2
    interfaces {
    "$junos-interface-ifd-name" {
    unit “$junos-interface-unit” {
    demux-source inet;
    vlan-id “$junos-vlan-id”;
    family inet {
    unnumbered-address lo0.0 preferred-source-address 10.10.40.3;
    }
    }
    }
    }

    [edit]
    nag@MX80#

    so config on server ex2200

    nag@ex2200poe# show system services
    telnet;
    dhcp {
    traceoptions {
    file dhcp;
    level all;
    flag all;
    }
    pool 10.10.40.0/24 {
    exclude-address {
    10.10.40.2;
    10.10.40.3;
    10.10.40.1;
    }
    maximum-lease-time 3600000;
    default-lease-time 360000;
    router {
    10.10.40.3;
    }
    }
    }

    nag@ex2200poe#

    nag@ex2200poe# show interfaces ge-0/0/36
    unit 0 {
