UDP session on firewall

    Want to know how UDP session maintain state in firewall as it is connectionless protocol?

    there should be some way in firewall to maintaining the UDP session in firewall.

    Yes, ScreenOS has a session table, where session (meaning, TCP and UDP) information resides.
    The ultimate reason why UDP has “sessions” in the ScreenOS is because it is a stateful firewall.

    Thanks for reply, but I want to go more into this. Like TCP having the state table that having the session information. there should be some way in firewall to maintaining the UDP session in firewall.

    UDP has pseudo sessions in ScreenOS.
    Check out “get session” or traffic logs.
