How to configure SNMP to trap only a specific interface and specific bgp peer

  • Hi guys.

    I have searched and I did not find what I am looking for and I need some help.

    I will start to monitor some customer owened equipments. Because of this, I have some constraints.
    Basically, we want to monitor only few specific resources and also configure the equipment to send only specific traps to our monitoring services.

    I am going to create a view for polling, which is fine, but I am  having problems with the trap-group to speficy the resources I want.
    I did not find a way to specify each resource I want to monitor.
    I saw the categories, but I did not find a way to insert more specific objects.

    The specific traps are:

    specifics interface only, excluding any other not specified
    specifics BGP peers only, excluding any other not specified
    specifics OSPF peers only, excluding any other not specified

    We are not interested in receive traps for issues we do not manage.

    The trap-group I am based is something like this (the categories in this example are the generic ones):

    snmp {
        interface fe-0/0/0.0;
        trap-group xxxx {
            categories {
                authentication;
                chassis;
                link;
                routing;
                startup;
                rmon-alarm;
                configuration;
                services;
            }
            targets {
                X.X.X.X;
            }
        }
    }

    The customer has its own monitoring system so any configuration done can´t impact the customer´s monitoring services.

    Thanks in advance
