SA2000 with corrupt firmware

  • I was upgrading my SA2000 here the other day, and under bootup it never came back.
    The console gives me this:

    and so on

I think this is because of a corrupt firmware image?

Anyone know how to transfer a new image onto the box when it can’t start the boot seq.
Can’t find anything on the juniper.net pages about firmware recovery for SA boxes.

  • JTAC’s response with this was to RMA the device.
Lucky me, I had 2 devices so that I could failover my customers to the second box.

kinda scary that I can hard crash the box with an firmware update so that I have to RMA it.  8-)

  • The error below seems to be before any image is being read. I’d power off for a minute, then try again.
You don’t even see the “loader” message or factory reset so this is pretty serious.
