NSM Xpress regional or centralserver

i want to setup a new environment to manage +/- 20 devices with one NSM Xpress appliance.
do i need to install this appliance as a regional or as a central server?
is it possible to manage devices (GT’s /SSGs) with a centralserver or is a centralserver just for delegating restrictions?

The central manager will manage other NSM servers that are set up as regional servers, and the regional servers are what actually manage the devices. So in your case you will want to set up the regional server.

That is my understanding as well. Regional NSMXpress appliances can support up to 500 managed devices.

Regional servers manage devices, a central server just manages regional servers as far as I understand it.
