EX4200 - 'ethernet-switching-options voip' problem

  • Hi Guys,

    I have configured our EX4200P switches to provide power on all interfaces and to utilise the voip command within the ethernet-switching-options hierarchy. All access ports are set up for the VoIP VLAN and the required data VLAN is configured on a interface by interface basis.

    username@switch# show ethernet-switching-options voip
    interface access-ports {
        vlan IP_Phone_Network;
    }

    The problem I now have is that I wish to add another node to the switch that is not a phone, and wish this interface to only have a single, untagged VLAN membership. I am unable to see how I would go about this, without setting all interfaces individually under the edit ethernet-switching-options voip hierarchy . I have made a similar configuration for mac-limiting, but I can supersede the interfaces all command with interface specific statements:
    }
    interface all {
        mac-limit 2 action shutdown;
        no-dhcp-trusted;
    }
    interface ge-0/0/46.0 {
        mac-limit 3;
    }
    Any help on this would be appreciated.

  • Wow, what a shameless plug for Interactive Intelligence…

    His question is valid.
