ISG-IDP Detector Engine problem

  • Dear All,
i have two active/avtive clustered ISG-IDP, when i want to updated IDP detector engine from NSM> Devices> IDP Detector Engine> Load Detector Engine, just one of the clustered ISG is listed while both of them are operational.

    help me please

  • Log On to NSM–->Investigate–>Realtime Monitor—> check for “Device Monitor” and “IDP cluster Monitor”  to see any of the members status is ok.

  • how can i check the cluster status in NSM and what’s the expected result?

  • Simply check for it  🙂
    best,
    Kamyar

B.S did you check the cluster status in NSM?

  • Hi Kamyar
    thanks for your attention
i dont know what i should look for? is dcpdump command executable in ISG device?

  • Hi Hedyeh,

in NSM–> Investigator–> RealTime Monitor, check for status of devices in cluster, also status of cluster must be checked,
then check for keep alive packet between NSM and devices via tcpdump in device console ro SSH,

    Best,
    Kamyar
