A/A NSRP in transparent

Anyone ever run Active/Active NSPR in transparent mode and if so any issues?

We looked at running A/A in transparent on some 5400’s with a VSS virtual L2 core but our SE strongly advised against it. As always, your mileage may vary

I believe this feature was added in 6.1 for the high-end platforms (ISG & NS-5x00). I’ve heard people discuss deployment of it, but not a good reason for it.

Below is an excerpt from one of the document.NAT, PAT, policy-based NAT, virtual IP, mapped IP, virtual systems, virtual routers, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, RIPv2, active/active HA and IP address assignment are not available in layer 2 transparent mode.

A/A is fine, but just not in transparent mode!

We did some digging and everyone at Juniper advised against it!
